Since 1966, the Opel Kaiserslautern plant has continuously evolved, investing in many innovative technologies that have kept the plant playing an important role in the companyโ€™s production network. One of these many evolutions and improvements was the ๐—ต๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† we installed in Kaiserslautern and which officially went into operation in mid-January 2021. Until Then, Opel parts manufactured using this process were obtained from external suppliers. The first recipient of the parts coming out of this brand-new facility was the new Opel Mokka, but the Kaiserslautern plant also supplies a number of other models from various brands of the group.
