Salim DADA : Lounga Nahawound (extract) سليم دادة : لونجة نهاوند

Originally, Lounga Nahawound was written for quartet: violin, oud, guitar and riq. It was presented the first time on October 31st, 2005 at Laghouat (southern of Algeria). On a commission of the Algerian National Symphony Orchestra, Salim Dada was to create an orchestral version in January 2007. The first presentation was on November 21st 2007 at the Auditorium of Algerian Radio in Algiers, directed by the Italian Maestro Guido Guida.
