That AFRICAN CICHLID that I’ve Been WANTING for SO LONG is FINALLY HERE! [A Species Profile Video]

#cichlids #africancichlids #nimbochromis #fusco #nimbochromisfuscotaeniatus #hugehap #hugefish #largecichlid #benochart In my top ten list of all-time favorite African Cichlids you’ll find the Nimbochromis fuscotaeniatus, commonly called a “Fusco.“ Beautifully colored with that pattern common to Nimbochromis, a electric blue face and great markings on the tail and fins that give this fish a striking appearance. In some cases they can even display some red in the fins and the body and look quite spectacular. It’s been a favorite of mine for many years but after selling my last one, before departing from Los Angeles for Nashville, I found it difficult to locate one big enough to go in with my current group of large African Cichlids. Well, James Largo at The Cichlid Shack came through and was able to send me the awesome specimen that you’ll see in this video. Fusco’s that I’ve owned have been relatively docile but just like with all African Cichlids, it can be different from one fish to another and can be impacted by many factors. So be sure to listen closely to my warning at the end of this video. Let’s talk about the Fusco in today’s video, a species profile of the Nimbochromis fuscotaeniatus, a fish I’ve been wanting to add to my group for a long time! Have you owned this fish?
