My Large Sebae Mono - Monodactylus sebae (Part 1)

Comman Name : Mono Sebae, Finger Mono, African Moony Scientific Name : Monodactylus Sebae Family: Actinopterygii (ray-finned fishes) Origin : Large Distribution from the coasts of Africa, Asia and Australia Size : 10 inches / 25 cm PH : 7.4 - 8.4 ( very hardy, never experienced issue with pH) Temperature : 74-80 F Temperament : Peaceful but can be very aggressive towards con-species Note : This is considered a brackish/saltwater fish. I’ve had mine for over 5 years in straight freshwater with no problems. Not a recommendation to follow in my foot steps but this fish has proved to be very hardy. I once knew somebody who had kept a Monodactylus argenteus (close cousin) in freshwater for years with a PH as low 6.5 with no issues.
