On the 17th of May was the Jayanti of Sri Adi Shankaracharya. The video that I have shared here, is from the play ’Deivathul Deivam’ based on Kanchi Mahaperiyava. Mahaperiyava was the revered Guru of millions. Smt. M. S. Subbulakshmi too was an ardent devotee of Mahaperiyava. She would often go to Kanchi math and sing in his presence.
In this play, we had presented a sequence where I am taking darshana of Mahaperiyava and he blesses me. I played the role of M. S. Amma, and in the scene, I had to sing in front of him.
After my singing, he said to me-
