Atomic Energy (Music Video)

Sir Lancelot was a calypso singer and actor who played a major role in popularizing calypso in North America. This track in particular I have loved for a long time now and the eerie foreboading nature of it felt perfect for a video. I knew I wanted to use authentic 1940’s atomic era videos but I also wanted to have Sir Lancelot perform the track on his guitar. So I used footage from his performance in the 1943 film, I Walked With A Zombie. I used lip syncing a.i to have Sir Lancelot be singing the lyrics to this track instead. I first heard this track via the Conelrad Radio mod for Fallout New Vegas so there’s a big fallout influence on the overall look of the video. Sir Lancelot died in 2001 at the age of 99 Support Me: ​
