Roza Bancheva - Lepa Jana (arranged&produced by 🅴🅼🅸🅻)

In 2001 I was the producer of the album of the Bulgarian folk singer Roza Bancheva - you can hear it here I didn’t like the orchestra’s arrangement of one of the songs, and I decided to make an experimental arrangement. I asked Miklós Paizs, with whom I played in Korai Öröm, to record throat singing, overdubbed a lament I recorded in the cemetery of a mountain village in Bulgaria, and a synthesizer. Here is the result. The song was included in the compilation of the English music magazine Songlines.
