Arctic Sea Ice Maximum 2021

The Arctic appears to have reached its annual maximum extent on 21 March 2021. The extent of the Arctic sea ice cover peaked at million square km ( million square miles), making it the seventh lowest yearly maximum extent in the satellite record.
