Coming to animation in 1957, for several years Gasparovic worked as an animator of series. In 1966, he directed the unpretentious short “Pasji Zivot“ (“A Dog’s Life, 1966); whereupon he moved to North America, dividing his life between California and Canada and his interests between advertising and series. Among others he worked with Hanna & Barbera. Returning home, he continued to work on series, working on “Kisobran“ (“The Umbrella“, 1972) - a 1972 first episode of a series which never took off - and some episodes of “Professor Balthazar“.
