2016 Alaska Mountain Wilderness Ski Classic

Brooks Range! Erica Madison and I skied the northern route to Anaktuvuk Pass then followed everyone’s tracks over Ermine Pass, through Gates of the Arctic and the trench broken down the Koyukuk. 190 miles - 4 days 16 hrs. We met up with Scott Hamilton and John Wros on the second day which was key to everyone’s moral of breaking trail in the vast (and hilly!) arctic expanse.
