Mermaid splashes her tail around while in ice water. This video was filmed in Lake Michigan during the winter. As you can see, there are chunks of ice (or mini icebergs, as I like to call them) in the water with the mermaid. The mermaid is me, by the way. I’m an experienced performer who will tell you right now that you should NOT do what I did in this video. It is not fun or worth it. In fact, the thawing process is one of the most painful things I’ve experienced. 100% don’t recommend it. :( If you are wanting to go for a polar plunge, please do so safety at a polar plunge event where emergency responders are present.
