Raffaella Carrà - Shake (Spanish TV) - AI upscaled 1080p 50fps

This is probably the Raffaella Carrà clip that I play most often. It is guaranteed to lift my mood. It is the second of three routines from Raffaella’s debut on RTVE (Spanish TV) shown on the variety show ¡Señoras y señores! in 1975. It is sandwiched between ’Felicita-ta-ta’ and ’Rumore’. The routine debuted on the RAI (Italian TV) show Canzonissima 1970 in a marvellous futuristic set. However, I prefer this version. It seems more joyous and exciting. The ’Carrà! Carrà!’ shouted by the dancers sounds better than in the original. It was choreographed by Don Lurio. He was an openly gay (unusual for the time) Italian American choreographer who had previously worked and appeared with Raffaella on RAI. He had also previously collaborated with Bob Fosse back in the US. Raffaella is playfully sexy in this clip. She and the dancers look like they are having so much fun. I think they must have been thrilled to be working with Raffaella
