Ein Junges Volk steht auf [German English Lyrics] Ein Junges Volk steht auf is the Hitler Youth song. Written by Werner Altendorf probably in 1934 and was first published in 1935. It quickly found it’s way into the songs of the Hitlerjugend and the NSDAP, as early as 1936 it was one of the Hitlerjugend’s compulsory songs. Until 1940 it was included in almost all school records and also found its way into various soldier song books.
