Ambassador: Turkey detained Russian ship carrying Ukrainian grain, possible confiscation imminent - YouTube

Turkish customs authorities detained a Russian cargo ship carrying some 4,500 tonnes of grain at Ukraine’s request. The ship, naming Zhibek Zholy was anchored about 1 km from shore outside Turkish port of Karasu on July 3, with no obvious signs of movement aboard or by other vessels nearby. On Ukrainian national television, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar said the ship’s fate would be decided by a meeting of investigators on Monday and that Ukraine was hoping for the confiscation of the grain. Ukraine has accused Russia of stealing grain from the territories, however, the Kremlin has previously denied. __________________ Powered by Shanghai Media Group, ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.
