Clipper 2019-20 Race

This video was filmed as the Punta del Este team was engulfed by the aftermath of Hurricane Lorenzo while racing from north to south of the Atlantic Ocean, with the notorious Pampero wind, a meteorological phenomenon, in September/October this year. Squalls of over 70 knots hit the yacht at one point, and the crew experienced a spectacular ‘audio visual’ show courtesy of the gods, Neptune and Jupiter, with 12 hours of storms, thunder and lightning!
