Noah-Benedikt - Stranger In The Country ©℗ Noah-Benedikt 2024 STREAMING: Hello guys! Today, I want to share a new tune with y’all that started pretty spontaneously as a fun little side project. Way back in 2022 (I know that’s not way back but... xD), when I was visiting Emma Marie in Colorado, USA, I came up with the idea of making a song called “Stranger In The .“ because I really loved that concept of me, as a stranger to the U.S. writing a song about it in a fun little love story. Then in 2023, I performed a couple of Shows with Ventura Fox and Friends playing Disney songs in a couple of cities in Germany. At these shows, Sammy was the man of guitars rockin the electric, acoustic and a banjo. When I heard him play, I knew that I would need that for a song - a country song. So I did some research, trying to find a period where his banjo fits in a more modern style and found the era, I wanted to be inspired by - the contemporary country songs of the early 2010’s. Influenced by this decade, I went back to the studio in January 2024, recorded 100 layers, sent it over to Sammy with a letter to come by and record some guitars and banjo in my studio near Magdeburg, GER. Some weeks later Antje, a phenomenal singer from my region joined the project by giving it her amazing backing vocals for the final chorus. Later, Stephanie Gorzellok joined the project with her amazing violin skills giving it an authentic touch. This was a really fun and creative song project. I really was able to learn many things about producing this kind of genre and style. Later in early June, we visited my friend Jörg at his home which, besides being in a wonderful little village, offered a beautiful paddock for us to record the video on. With some little editing magic that turned the juicy green grass yellow and added some mountains in the back, this little video was born. I really love how all of this turned out and can’t thank all the amazing people working on it enough!
