Hiking 180km on the GR20 - The Toughest Trail in Europe? (4K)
The GR20 is a 180km/110mi hiking trail considered by many as the toughest trail in Europe. And what I find even more surprising is that it is located on the French island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea.
While being famous for its rocky and rugged characteristic, the GR20 also offers a wide variety of spectacular alpine views and an unforgettable hiking experience.
Every year thousands of hikers attempt to hike the GR20, with the majority hiking from June through September. However I had some free time in October and had the chance to experience the beauty of the autumn colours through the rugged terrain along the GR20 hiking trail.
Sit back, relax and enjoy this journey into nature!
