Castelul Corvinilor - sala de tortură / Corvin Castle - torture chamber

Castelul Corvinilor, numit și Castelul Huniazilor sau al Hunedoarei, este cetatea medievală a Hunedoarei, unul din cele mai importante monumente de arhitectură gotică din România. La subsolul Muzeului de Arheologie al Castelului gasim o sală imensă de tortură în care sunt prezentate cele mai cumplite instrumente medievale și modul în care au fost folosite. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Corvin Castle, also known as Hunyadi Castle or Hunedoara Castle, is a Gothic-Renaissance castle in Hunedoara, Romania. In the basement of the Archaeological Museum of the Castle we find a huge torture chamber in which are presented the most terrible medieval instruments and how they were used. Several scenes of torture are rendered with the help of specially built mannequins, but also dozens of tools used by executioners in the Middle Ages.
