Andrian Fadeyev new artistic director of Jacobson Ballet

The best prince of the Mariinsky ballet, 34-years old Andrian Fadeyev, has been appointed as artistic director of Leonid Jacobson Saint-Petersburg State Academic Ballet. Let’s hope that it doesn’t mean that he’s leaving Mariinsky because losing the most princely dancer would be tragedy. If Igor Zelensky can travel more that 3 thousands kilometeres from Petersburg where he’s princiapl in Mariinsky to Novosibirsk where he’s director of ballet company, I see no reason why Fadeyev can’t be both dancer and director, especially that he wouldn’t have to travel as much as Zelensky.
