Painting Pentakill III Sona, Mordekaiser, Karthus - League of Legends Splash Art

I got another chance to do an epic group splash! It’s a huge pressure to do this because this is already an established skin line and these are an awesome set of characters. The other Pentakill Group splash was done by Terence Cantal. He started it earlier than me, so it was a relief that I had some starting point on the feel that we were going for in this. The challenge when sketching was fitting Mordekaiser. At first, Morde was playing the guitar. I actually liked that pose better but we eventually switched to his mace. Rendering this went smoothly. I really like the strong red background against the cool clothes of the characters. For a static composition, I had to make sure the elements were dynamic enough by using the wind to add movement.
