Series 4 of Doctor Who originally ended with a cliffhanger, where the Cybermen suddenly appeared inside the TARDIS. There was also an additional scene of Donna recognising the sound of the TARDIS. However, ultimately Russell T Davies was convinced to change the ending and the scenes ended up as deleted scenes on the Series 4 boxset.
