António Guterres shares video showing long line of aid trucks waiting to be let into Gaza.

“It’s time to truly flood Gaza with life-saving aid… I will not give up.” UN Secretary-General António Guterres shared a video on his X account showing a long line of trucks carrying aid waiting to allowed entry into Gaza. Around 2,400 aid trucks were parked and awaiting entry into Gaza in the Egyptian city of Al Arish in mid-March, roughly 50 kilometres from the besieged strip, according to an Egyptian Red Crescent official. The trucks are loaded with food supplies, urgently required by Gaza’s population of over 2 million, facing dire circumstances amid an escalating humanitarian crisis.
