Sailor’s Hornpipe Highland dance competition at Kenmore Highland Games in Perthshire Scotland 2019

The Sailor’s Hornpipe competition for adult dancers at the 2019 Kenmore Highland Games in Perthshire, Scotland. This Scottish Highland Dance is common to many parts of the UK and was originally played on a hornpipe rather than bagpipes. It is one of the few Highland Dances that has its own costume for competitions. Kenmore HIghland Games, held on the first Wednesday in July each year, is the only evening Highland Games in Scotland and is set in a beautiful location by Loch Tay in Perthshire.
