From the album: North Wind Calling, 1977.
Coyotes Cry
Hear coyotes cry
He dont care bout you or I
When hes loping high in the mountains
In the moonlight
When the shadows fall
Then he starts to call and it echoes
Down de canyon walls, down the valley
Through my window.
Just like a longing his voice appears
Just like a memory it goes
Just like a dream, or a fantasy
Lord knows, hes so hard to find.
Guess Ill never know why I love him so
Sometimes I wonder
If I call to him will he answer,
If hes really there
