BimmerWorld Bergsteiger Pikes Peak 2022 - FULL RUN to the PEAK!

The 100th Running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb was looking great for our team all through the weeks leading up to race day. Testing had been going great and the car and driver were extremely comfortable going very fast on the mountain. But as we’ve learned in the past it doesn’t matter how prepared you are - the mountain does what the mountain wants. And on race day after 3 weeks of absolutely PERFECT conditions it decided to be cold, rainy, a little snowy, and a LOT foggy. Ruining anyone’s chances at setting any records it was more about survival and less about all out speed. In some areas visibility was down to under 20ft ahead of the car and that doesn’t make for the best conditions to push the car to the limit. Thankfully we DID make it to the summit and that by itself is an accomplishment we are very happy to achieve. With a time of 11: we ended up 2nd in the OPEN class and 11th overall. Not the results we wanted, but thats what happens when you’re at the mercy of the mountain! #bimmerworld #bergsteigerE36 #insta360 #OPTIMABatteries #e36m3 #pikespeak #PPIHC2022 #PPIHC SUBSCRIBE to stay up to date with all the Bergsteiger news as we get closer to the 2022 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb!
