Early 1900s American Made Screwdriver Restoration – Amazing Result Several years ago I bought a used toolbox with several well used tools including screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches and other woodworking tools in it. All the tools sat in the toolbox since then. A month ago I decided to check what was in there and this early 1900s screwdriver was the first tool that I picked up. As you can see in the video it is well used, the handle is pretty much rotted away and it was very corroded. So I looked it up and didn’t find out much except it is a regular screwdriver made in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Pretty much a perfect restoration project. As I was working on it I found out the it is American Made from the etching in the metal. I couldn’t read everything that was etched on the shaft, but what was very clear in the USA letters etched in the metal.
