Ashwini Bhide Deshpande performs Raag Deepawali at FEA’s Annual Diwali Concert Series 2013

At FEA’s Annual Diwali Concert Series 2013, sponsored by Union Bank of India, Ashwini Bhide Deshpande enthralled the audience with Raag Deepawali, a raag she had not performed for many years. She was accompanied by Pt. Vishwanath Shirodkar on tabla and Smt. Seema Shirodkar on harmonium. Her students also sang beautifully proving that the next generation of Hindustani Classical vocalists will be ready to take centre stage in the near future.
