ILMU - Langat (Official Video Teaser)

Full video coming soon ILMU (“air“, “weather“) is a nordic folk-trip-hop band from Karelia now living in Tampere, Finland. The band plays original music with lyrics in Livvi-Karelian language. Magically beautiful northern nature of Karelia became an inspiration for the songs. ILMU’s second album “Mua“ is a journey into the depths of times when the primordial Earth was filled with thousands of sounds. They formed the enchanting melodies of the North: magical, like the dance of all living beings, and piercing, like cold winds. There is a place here for stories about the vibrant energy of the earth and inspiring beauty. And also about death as a companion of life. The album contains 13 tracks, including two collaborations with an artist from the Republic of Tyva Saylyk Ommun and a Finnish musician Tuomas Rounakari (ex-”Korpiklaani”). The track “Kazvatti Minuu Muamoi / Teve Khaya” is a new look at Karelian and Tuvan folk songs.
