Ukraine Says 4 Killed in Russia’s Zaporizhzhia Bombing, Zelensky “Not Going to Nato Summit for Fun“

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has questioned NATO’s unity over Kyiv’s bid to join the military alliance. He also said that he wouldn’t be a guest at the NATO summit “for fun” and could stay away from it unless there’s more clarity. Zelensky also said that he is not afraid of Prigozhin, adding that his Wagner group was more powerful than the Russian army. The Russians have hit the city of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast with a guided aerial bomb, killing four people, Ukraine said. Meanwhile, Chief of Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov was seen in public for the first time since Wagner’s mutiny in June 24. The Institute for Study of War has said that Putin’s decision not to expel the Wagner Group has put him in an “awkward position”.
