Ukraine Seeks Taurus Missiles, “holds Bakhmut Heights”, Drones Hit Russia’s Pskov, Bryansk Regions

An explosion was reported in an administration building of an oil pipeline near Litvinovo, Nevelsky district in Russia’s Pskov region on May 27. Russian media ‘Baza’ claims a drone attack in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast killed at least two people on May 27. Ukrainian intelligence claims Russia has started a false-flag operation using chemical weapons in occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Kyiv says its troops “firmly hold“ the heights overlooking Bakhmut from the north and south as well as a portion of the outskirts. Meanwhile, US Senator Lindsey Graham met Zelensky and called for supplying long-range ATACMS missiles and cluster munitions to Ukraine. The German Defence Ministry says Ukraine has requested Taurus air-to-surface missiles that have a range of 500 km.
