Hearthlassier (US) — A Sacrifice to Causes Unknown — 2021 demo

The second demo from this US project. A fine representative of the lofi USBM with plenty of harmonies despite the grittiness of the recording. The melody bounces between epicness but is often quite melancholic, carried almost single-handedly through the guitar, with the synths sharing some of the background filling with the vocals. On the last song these ingredients seem to melt together perfectly as is the best track, as you find yourself headbanging inadvertently. A perfect way to close the year, since this will probably be the last upload. On that note, have fun and start our year off right with metal, of course!
