Midnight Skyracer - Steaming Buzzard

Recorded at Downend Folk Club in Downend School on 20th September 2019 using a Sony HX-400V. I love the story behind this title. Charlotte had written the tune but didn’t know what to call it. She was travelling from Bath to her twin sister’s house and noticed a large pile of manure. It was, apparently, the length of the hall we were in, and the height of the doors! (Though Laura insists the size keeps growing). The manure was really steaming, and was made more ’effective’ by the sunlight filtering through it. But what really caught her eye was the large buzzard sitting in the middle of this pile of manure! Hence the title. :-)
