Police in Northern Ireland Attacked with 40 Petrol Bombs

Police in Northern Ireland have come under fire from youths armed with petrol bombs. Officers were searching for New IRA bomb-making equipment in the Creggan Heights area of Derry when they were attacked. Fifteen homes had to be evacuated after the Police Service of Northern Ireland discovered a “viable explosive device’ during their search.
