Compound C21H23NO5 is the second of five works in the New Narratives Through Transformations Of Structure series, realized from the song “Swollen“ on Bent’s “Programmed To Love“ album. Lyrically and melodically, this work starts from the center and works backwards using only selected words and phrases from the original. The chorus is also sounded out in reverse.
