After his successful solo debut with the Leningrad Philharmonic in 1965, for five decades he has had an international reputation as a musician in the absolute top tier. This musical festive evening he offers three sonorous and melodic favorites from the cello repertoire. After the break, Julian Rachlin and the KSO perform Mozart’s wonderful 40th Symphony.
