Surrey mayor Dianne Watts at Buildex Vancouver 2011

Surrey, British Columbia mayor Dianne Watts delivered the keynote address at Buildex Vancouver 2011. She outlined how one of the biggest communities in British Columbia is moving from a bedroom community next to Vancouver to a city in its own right, and highlighted the challenges that come with juggling several major construction projects across a sizable land mass.
