Knife-wielding ‘terror’ suspect ELIMINATED at West Bank checkpoint as IDF prepares for Rafah raid

The Defense Ministry releases video footage of the overnight assault at a West Bank checkpoint close to Kochav Yair. The video captures Waheb Sabita, a 26-year-old resident from the nearby Arab Israeli town of Tira, charging at security guards stationed at the Eliyahu Crossing with a knife. Sabita had previously collided his vehicle into four police officers, resulting in serious injuries to one officer. The guards at the checkpoint promptly neutralized the assailant, fatally shooting him.
