Disco Diffusion Animation “Dogs of War“ by Pink Floyd

What started as practice and to experiment with techniques for making movies/videos with Disco Diffusion, turned into a 3 month long proof of concept work project. This piece turned into a Moby Dick of sorts with me as Ahab and finishing as the whale. By the time I finished all I wanted was to be done! :-) During the time between starting and finishing a bevy of Ai assisted imagers has hit the streets and there is a lot of debate over the entire field of Ai. It was frustrating, fun, and educational and now I’m ready to move on to the next project. I learned a lot and proved to myself that these new tools will open up yet another way of story telling for moving media but there is a lot more research and experimenting to be done!
