Resurrecting the Homer Simpson beer opener.

I received many requests to follow up on my ’Dying Homer Simpson’s Beer Opener’ video after I mentioned that I still have it. After replacing the batteries, it was unfortunately still dead due to corrosion of the battery terminals. It’s definitely not something meant to be repaired, but my wife and I managed to at least bring the voice back to life! We’ll try cleaning the battery terminals further, or find another way to get it powered internally so it can be used properly as a (talking) beer opener again. (the original can be found here -
