Japanese authorities have decided to release treated radioactive water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant into the ocean, and others in the international community are not pleased. China, for one, has announced it will no longer purchase Japanese fish, which is compelling the Japanese government to subsidize the nation’s fishing industry while searching for other markets that WILL accept Japanese fish.
