The dish is named after Peshwa Bajirao’s beautiful lover, Mastani. Mango Mastani is a thick milkshake topped with ice cream, mangoes, nuts and dry fruits. A special drink from the city of Pune in India. #MangoMastani
INGREDIENTS QUANTITY
Alphonso Mango 2 no’s
Milk ½ ltr.
Vanilla Ice-Cream 2 no’s (small cups) for garnish
Ice as required
Sugar 3 tbsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Pistachios slice for garnish
Almonds slice for garnish
Cashew nut slice for garnish
Cherry for garnish.
Method:
1. Take mangoes peeled it, cut into chunks and place it in grinder jar, add milk, vanilla ice cream, ice, sugar and cardamom powder and blend well.
2. Remove in serving glass, garnish with vanilla ice cream, pistachio slice, almond slice, cashew nut slice and cherry on top and serve.
