Bruiser Brody vs Tom Brandi (1986)

Here we go with more Bruiser Brody action in Mario Savoldi’s ICW. Brody worked some dates for ICW in the winter and spring of 1986, managed by Gary Hart. Both worked as faces for the promotion and feuded with Kevin Sullivan’s Army of Darkness (the ICW version, including Sullivan, Mark Lewin [The Purple Haze], Ron Slinker, The Fallen Angel [Nancy Sullivan], & King Curtis Iaukea). Here Brody destroys a young Tom Brandi (who was all of 20 in 1986 and working under the name Tom “Bam-Bam“ Brandi) in a match that looks to have been taped at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA. I’ve also included an awesome Brody interview following an attack by Sullivan’s Army on Gary Hart (shown before the Brody-Brandi match).
