Graham Moffatt was best known as the ’fat boy’ of British cinema in the 1930s and 1940s. He starred alongside the biggest names of the day including Will Hay, Moore Marriott and Arthur Askey, most famous for playing Albert in the films ’Oh, Mr. Porter!’ and ’Ask a Policeman’.
This short film looks at the life and career of Graham, including his life off screen as a publican, with heartfelt memories from his children.
This film was made by the Will Hay Appreciation Society for Will Hay Day 5 on 14th October 2018, with special thanks to Graham’s children Richard, Chris and Jayne.
