Lawyer for South Africa lists staggering statistics in Gaza

Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh, a lawyer for South Africa, presented the following of the daily statistics at the International Court of Justice hearing as part of South Africa’s case arguing that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. She stated that 48 mothers were killed each day, 117 children were killed each day, and that 629 people were wounded each day in Gaza. “The daily statistics stand as clear evidence of the urgency and of the irreparable prejudice,” she told the judges.
