’’Temple of Serenity’’ is a concept album exploring the ultimate rite of passage. What does the Bardo sound like? What are the faces of Death? And, ultimately – how many times have you died before? Compared to the previous record (The Feathers of Oblivion), the Temple of Serenity includes more elements of post-rock and modern dark psychedelia, also featuring pagan flute, forest drums, percussion instruments, ambient bits, and even some hazy clarinet echoes.
