Belgium Liege

Liege is a city in eastern Belgium, located on the Meuse River. It has a rich industrial past, which makes it inferior in beauty to Bruges and Ghent. Liege is one of the most important historical cities in Belgium. This is one of the first places in Europe where coal was mined. Now Liege is the main cultural center of Wallonia, including many museums and an eclectic mix of architecture from the Middle Ages to the present.
