A baby porcupine (also called a porcupet) is learning how to climb. In the wild, porcupines would climb trees, so it’s important that this little guy get enrichment and learn to climb--even if it’s learning on a stool.
This young mother was killed when she was hit by a car and he was cared for by licensed wildlife rehabilitator Gail Buhl. He was orphaned and imprinted on humans and is now living at a nature center in northern Minnesota.
