Forgotten Slaves

Forgotten Slaves is about the forgotten slaves of the north. New York had over 10,000 slaves in the 19th century. They kept their slaves far past the Emancipation Proclamation. Because the northern bankers were making money from the slave institutions, they kept the slavery institution very strong. Why this wasn’t in our history is a puzzle to this writer. So, when you hear about the GOP party banning books, this is the true reason behind that.
