O documentário acompanha a rotina de moradores do edifício São Vito, popularmente chamado de Treme-Treme, às vésperas da desocupação do prédio, em 2004. Em São Paulo, onde tudo pode ser substituído em nome do novo, as histórias pessoais jogam luz em questões como moradia, urbanismo e políticas públicas em um dos espaços vitais do centro da capital paulistana. Treze anos depois da desapropriação, não existem mais vestígios do São Vito, mas a vida e a memória dos antigos moradores continua presente na cidade. The documentary follows the routine of the São Vito building residents, on the eve of the building’s evacuation in 2004. In São Paulo, where everything can be replaced in the name of the new, their personal stories throw light on questions such as housing, urban planning and public policies in one of the vital spaces of the center of São Paulo. Thirteen years after the expropriation, there are no more vestiges of São Vito, but the life and memory of its residents lives on.
