L/S’s of sailing ships leaving a very icy looking Newfoundland coast. L/S’s of the hunters turning the wheel on the deck of a ship. L/S’s of the Arctic wastes. Several shots of the hunters preparing their equipment on the deck of the ship. Good L/S’s of the ship ploughing through the ice so as to get as close as possible to the seals. L/S’s of the hunters walking and sliding across the ice to the hunting grounds. L/S’s of seal moving as fast as possible in an attempt to get away from the hunters. M/S and C/U of a white baby seal in the snow (it looks really cute !). Various shots of the hunters dragging dead seals along the ice. M/S of seal being skinned.
